Specialist

Our Accounting Specialists work directly with clients and our agency’s advisors, providing accounting, QuickBooks, and payroll/payroll tax services for various entities and individuals. This role requires the professional ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. The Accounting Specialist is a task-driven, detail-oriented team member who takes ownership of assigned work and contributes to a high-quality client experience.

What you’ll do:

• Perform all core accounting functions with accuracy and attention to detail

• Analyze and prepare adjustments to accounting records

• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and balance sheet accounts.

• Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax reports

• Prepare Washington State Sales & B&O Tax reports

• Support QuickBooks cleanup projects under the guidance of senior team members

• Assist clients with basic QuickBooks questions and training as needed

• Document all work product and work papers in accordance with firm standards and technology

• Utilize the agency’s tech stack, including MS Teams, MS Apps, QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Gusto Payroll, Dext, Expensify, and Right Networks hosting

• Collaborate effectively with the broader team, including international team members

• Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and client expectations

What you’ll bring:

• 1–3 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting support role

• Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop

• Familiarity with firm tech stack applications is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Eagerness to learn, grow, and continuously improve

• Professional discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information

Education:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred but may be substituted with applicable work experience.
