Accountant
The Role
Our Senior Accountants serves as a key bridge between accounting execution and financial insight—owning core accounting functions while contributing to higher-level analysis, reporting, and client advisory support.
This role works closely with clients, advisors, and internal teams to ensure financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and actionable insights. The Senior Accountant brings both technical accounting expertise and analytical thinking to elevate client outcomes and internal decision-making.
What you’ll do:
Accounting & Financial Operations
Perform and oversee full-cycle accounting
Review reconciliations, journal entries, and financials
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
Manage payroll and related tax filings
Prepare and review state/local tax filings (e.g., WA B&O)
Lead QuickBooks cleanup and optimization
Financial Analysis & Advisory Support
Analyze financials for trends and variances
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
Build and maintain models, dashboards, and KPIs
Translate data into actionable insights
Support advisors with strategic recommendations
Operational & Process Improvement
Improve accounting workflows and processes
Optimize systems and reporting tools
Support quality control and consistency
Identify efficiency and profitability opportunities
Operational & Process Improvement
Serve as a client contact for accounting support
Mentor and guide junior team members
Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders
Collaborate across internal and global teams
What you’ll bring:
15+ years of experience in accounting, with increasing responsibility
Strong knowledge of GAAP and full-cycle accounting practices
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and accounting systems
Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Clear and effective communication skills (written and verbal)
High level of integrity and discretion with confidential information
Growth mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
Technical Skills & Experience:
Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, data analysis)
Experience with reporting/dashboard tools
Familiarity with tools such as Gusto, Dext, and cloud-based accounting environments
Ability to extract, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA or CPA-track preferred
Experience in public accounting, consulting, or client services environment preferred
